NEXIA aluminium battens

The Nexia batten system features non-weld assembly and can be installed in a number of different configurations. Batten style screening is increasingly popular for residential and commercial applications, providing architecturally pleasing aesthetics as well as functional screening solutions. Battens may be installed directly to walls, posts, the underside of roofs or they may be installed as a fence with the aid of horizontal rails.

The patented clip-fix design uses a robust rear mounting clip secured to the substrate, allowing the front batten to simply snap into place. Matching top caps and base plates conceal fixings, creating a clean, streamlined appearance once installed.

One of the biggest advantages of the Nexia range is its flexibility in style and profile selection. From the sleek 65x16mm option through to the bold 150x50mm profile — including intermediate sizes and the distinctive 60x30mm curved Radius batten — the system can be customised to achieve both subtle and statement architectural finishes.

Battens are available in long lengths and supplied in a selection of durable powder-coated colours, timber-look finishes, or mill finish aluminium. The no-weld assembly design allows for easy cutting and adjustment on site, making installation efficient for DIY projects or professional builds alike.

For larger projects, custom powder-coat colours can be specified from leading Australian powder ranges, along with a wide selection of timber-effect aluminium finishes to achieve the warmth of wood with the strength and longevity of aluminium.
