Our hardware is made from grade 316 and 2205 stainless steel which have been classified as marine grade making them suitable for use in coastal locations or other areas where excessive chloride is present. However, for outdoor applications such as pool fencing or balcony, we recommend selecting the Polish or Matt Black finish for your hardware, as the brushed Satin is subject to “tea-staining” and requires regular upkeep and maintenance.
